There were three people that my partners and I did all together. They were Jacob Stein, Herman Kirschbaum, and Sherman Dolman. Sherman was a 75 year old German male, Jacob was a 50 year old Jewish male, and Herman was a male. They were all involved in the Great Depression. When Sherman Dolamn was interviewed he was 75 years old. He is german and a male. His interviewed took place on october 17 in 1938. He was born in Verna, Germany. He was not well educated. He went up to fourthgrade then he cant remeber anything else. This is very interesting because today mostly everyone goes to school until after college. This also happened with Jacob. He was educated but not very well. This is sad because they have a disadvantege when it comes to jobs they dont apply. So this affects their lives in a big way. Another thing is that he is slightly deaf in one ear. Poor Herman. When we look at the interview their is little information. This clearly means that he doesnt have a lot of things going on in his life. An interesting fact is that in all three of the interviews they mention nothing about a family. All of these interviews were taking at different times. Out of all of the interviews all of them dont have a lot of information. Therefor it makes it hard to compare them to one another. All of these people went through tough times. They have similarities but their stories are completely different.
